Red Sox Opening Day Parody Makes Fenway Fans Proud [VIDEO]

Who knew that Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now" would perfectly capture the excitement about baseball after a brutal winter?

The Red Sox showed they are a force to be reckoned with after trouncing the Phillies 8-0 during the season opener on Monday.

This comes after a very long, brutal winter here in New England where the snow just kept on falling. Now the snow is melting, the Sox are winning and everything is right in the world.

We wrote this song in honor of Opening Day and the upcoming home opener in Boston this month. Fenway Park even has 174 new seats waiting to be filled by Red Sox fans. The stadium will also boast a complete makeover of the Budweiser Right Field Roof Deck, a new area for kids and improvements to its WiFi.
