Laconia Police Report at Least Three Public Nudity Arrests Over the Weekend

The Laconia Sun reports that there were at least three arrested at Weirs Beach as part of the "Free the Nipple" movement in the last three to four days.  One woman was arrested as part of her own protest on Saturday, two were arrested on Tuesday.

NH1 reported the arrested parties as 27 year old Ginger Pierro of Canaan who was arrested Saturday, along with 24 year old Kia Sinclair, 24 Danbury and 55 year old Helen Lilley of Gilford, both arrested Tuesday.

The three women were charged with violating the town's public nudity ordinance.

The Free the Nipple movement has been a national push to legalize topless nudity for women in beaches across the U.S.  In December, the movement saw it's day in court here in New Hampshire.
