Revenge Porn Isn’t Illegal in New Hampshire (Yet)

As crazy as this sounds, revenge porn is legal in New Hampshire......for now.

WMUR reports that the NH House Committee heard from a victim of "revenge porn" while they consider the new bill.

It's hard to believe that such a thing isn't a felony right?

The bill would create penalties for revenge porn, an act in which one publicizes nude photos in revenge against another person, to a Class B Felony in New Hampshire.

People in favor say it's a "commonsense measure" and will also protect the public against online predators.

One of those who testified was a police officer who voiced the concern that numerous people have attempted to file charges against such a thing only to find out that it's not illegal! (Which is crazy, right?)
