Rochester Bank Robber Arrested

(Rochester NH ) - A Rochester man faces arraignment his morning after his arrest on bank robbery charges.

20 year old Thomas Hegarty will be arraigned on felony robbery charges after police say he entered the Bank of America branch on South Main Street in Rochester just after 11 am Tuesday and handed over a note demanding cash. He fled on foot and there was no weapon shown and no injuries.

Police used bank security video to identify Hegarty as the suspect and he was taken into custody just before 3 pm and held in lieu of bail.
