(Rochester, NH) - A Rochester man is scheduled to be arraigned this morning for trying to rob gas stations in Rochester and Somersworth.

Rochester Police were called to the Monster Gas Station on South Main Street around 4 Monday afternoon after a clerk said a man entered the store with a knife and demanded cash.
Police were given a description of the getaway vehicle, and located in parked outside a home on Whitehouse Road. A blanket was being used to cover the license plate on the vehicle.

Police located the cars owner, 52 year old James Brouilland, and charged him with Attempted Armed Robbery and several other charges. He faces arraignment in Rochester District Court .

Meanwhile, Somersworth Police have determined that Brouillard was involved in an assault and attempted hold-up  at the Gulf Station on Route 108 a short time after the Rochester incident.

Brouillard will be arraigned on the Somersworth charges in Dover District Court.

Police say Brouillard is currently on Probation /Parole on a previous Armed Robbery charge.
