( Rochester, N.H. ) – A Rochester man was arrested last night after he shot and killed  his dog after it bit a 4 year old boy.

 33 year old Lee Thurston shot the dog inside his apartment on Sheridan Avenue. Thurston was charged with reckless conduct, cruelty to animals and unauthorized use of a firearm.

An Epping man has been indicted for committing a variety of sexually assaults involving a 12 year old girl. 41 year old Reynold Solari could spend decades in prison as a result of the incidents which took place in Rochester last year.

Police in Manchester are looking for a woman who they say robbed the Members First Credit Union on Bridge Street this morning. The un-armed woman committed the robbery just after 9am. Police have not disclosed the amount of money that was stolen.

The New Hampshire Hospital Association says the state's emergency rooms are seeing fewer uninsured patients since the state expanded its Medicaid program to cover more poor adults.   A report released by the Hospital Association today says the number of emergency room patients without insurance dropped 17 percent last year compared to the previous year, while the total number of patients remained steady.
