Rochester, NH’s Kyle Tanguay is Going to Hollywood on American Idol and We Talked to His Mom

Its been an amazing year for New Hampshire native and local Spaulding High School graduate Kyle Tanguay. Recently, Kyle was selected as a male cheerleader for the Philadelphia Eagles. (the first in decades!)

What a nice dude, he came by the studio to teach Chio some dance moves.

Don't worry. Chio won't be quitting his day job!

As if being a cheerleader for the NFL isn't enough excitement for one year, Kyle also auditioned for American Idol and got the Golden Ticket. That's right, he's going to Hollywood! We had the pleasure of chatting with Kyle's mama, Susan Tanguay who still lives in Rochester. You could hear her beaming with pride through the phone. My favorite part was when she shared how she found out Kyle was going to audition for 'Idol'. I couldn't believe he dropped that on his mom so casually!
