Rockingham Is The Healthiest County In New Hampshire

(Concord, NH) - Rockingham County is the healthiest,  and Coos County the unhealthiest county in New Hampshire according to a recent national survey.

The 8th Annual County Health Rankings released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute use a number of factors to rank the health of residents across the states.

Rockingham County was the healthiest in New Hampshire, followed by Carroll, Grafton, Merrimack, Cheshire, Hillsborough, Belknap, Strafford, Sullivan and Coos Counties.
This is the second year in a row that Coos was at the bottom of the list.

Cumberland County was the healthiest in Maine while Washington County was ranked last of the 16 counties.

Addison County in Vermont and Nantucket County Massachusetts were their states healthiest.

Orleans and Hampden were at the bottom in Vermont and Massachusetts.
