(Newington, NH) - There were no injuries when a roof gave way at a building in Newington around 7 this morning.Witnesses say the roof collapsed on a building at the Georgia Pacific facility on Shattuck Way. Officials had reportedly cut power to the building Monday because of concerns about snow on the roof after the weekend storm that dumped over a foot of snow on parts of the seacoast.

Several other buildings were damaged by roof collapses over the weekend and at least two school district cancelled classes for today so snow could be removed from school roofs amid concern about structural safety.
