Sears and Kmart Announce More Store Closings

It's reported the latest round of store closings for Sears and Kmart will take place by the end of September.  

Sears Holdings, the parent company of Sears and Kmart recently announced it will be closing 72 stores. This, in addition to the announcement earlier this year that the company was shuttering close to two-hundred other locations.

A report from Business Insider says the closings include 16 Sears stores, 49 Kmart stores and 7 auto centers.

It looks like this round of store closures will affect only one New England location. The Kmart is Newburyport, Ma is on the chopping block.
