Senator Ayotte Calls On Rep. Frank Guinta To Resign

( Concord, N.H. ) - Senator Kelly Ayotte says fellow Republican Representative Frank Guinta should resign after the Federal Election Commission concluded he broke the law by accepting campaign donations from his parents.

Guinta has apologized to constituents but insists the money  was his and that his only error was not reporting it correctly.

Ayotte said today that Guinta's explanation is inconsistent with the FEC's findings, and that if she were him, she'd resign.
