Shark Attacks Surfer on Live TV [VIDEO]

It looked more like the scene from a movie, but this shark attack is real and it was broadcast on live television. Professional surfer Mick Fanning was surprised by and eventually fought off a shark during a competition at the J-Bay Open in South Africa.

In a pretty good indicator of who in the world is watching surfing on live television, Mick's poor mother witnessed the whole thing and I can't even imagine what a horrible and helpless feeling that must have been.

Fortunately, everyone was okay but even knowing that this video will have you an the edge of your seat surfboard.
