Sure, we're hearty New Englanders but at this point its not by choice. New Hampshire and the rest of the region has cried "uncle" on Old Man Winter.

Before more talk about winter weather gets too depressing, let's get away from it all with my ten favorite songs that bring back the hot sun and good times.

1. "Beachin" by Jake Owen.

This might be the ultimate summer song in country music, a true anthem!

2. "Sun Daze" by Florida Georgia Line.

BK  and Tyler enjoy all summer has to offer.

3. "When The Sun Goes Down" by Kenny Chesney and Uncle Kracker.

This song brings the beach party to you wherever you are.

4. "River Bank" by Brad Paisley.

Brad proves that you don't need the ocean, just pull over to the closest water you can find.

5. "Pontoon" by Little Big Town.

Good friends and great times on your party barge.

6. "That's My Kind Of Night" by Luke Bryan.

Like "When The Sun Goes Down", Luke proves that things only get better after sunset.

7. "Toes" by The Zac Brown Band.

Zac gets away from it all only to find he can have as much fun at the nearby lake.

8. "Sunny And 75" by Joe Nichols.

Joe made a great connection with his fans on this one, an instant classic.

9. "Something 'Bout A Truck" by Kip Moore.

Kip did this live in Portsmouth at our WOKQ Countryfest at Prescott Park in Portsmouth. If you were lucky enough to be there, you saw this before it became the monster hit it is.

10. "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" by Jake Owen.

Jake started this list and bookends it with a summer fun song that will live forever.

[Bonus Track! "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett.]

The legends unite for a rallying cry on this one. They simply sang what we all were saying for all these years.
