However you like it, SIS Bank is giving you another reason to cheer for the Patriots this season:

Each time the Patriots score a TD this season, SIS will donate $50 to a veterans charity. (1)

For September, they are supporting the Travis Mills Foundation, which "supports veterans & their families at their national facility in Maine - helping them bond with other veterans, learn new activities, and heal as a family."

Travis' story is amazing. Only five quadruple amputees from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq survived their injuries, and about a year and a half after his injury, he founded the non-profit. Since then, he's also become a motivational speaker, written a best-selling memoir and an advocate for veterans and amputees.

He recently talked with Sarah and A-Train on our sister station, WSHK, about his journey:

He decided to make the best life possible with his wife and daughter, and their foundation helps veteran amputees be more active, bonding with other veterans' families and learning adaptive techniques for kayaking and other outdoor activities.

Meanwhile, SIS Bank has made supporting veterans a cornerstone of their business. They donate to a local veterans organization every time a veteran opens an account under their veterans bundle, which includes free checking and incentives for VA Mortgage Loans. Click here to learn more.
