Squirrel Causes Seacoast Power Outage

(Exeter, NH) - UNITIL Crews are working to repair a power outage caused by a squirrel.

The outage has knocked out power to about 18-hundred UNITIL customers in the Kingston, Kensington and South Hampton area.

Crews found a squirrel caused damage to equipment at a sub-station, and testing will be done before the transformers are put back on line.

Power is expected to be restored to everyone by early afternoon.
