State-Owned Cannon Mountain Welcomes The Return Of Winter Weather
(Franconia, NH) - After a slow start, winter has taken hold in the White Mountains and the return of cold weather has allowed snow-making guns to run non-stop at Cannon Mountain.
Cannon has also received over a foot of new, natural snow since the end of December. The mountain has been adding new trails to their count each day.
As of Wednesday, the ski area had 20 trails open, services by 4 lifts. More terrain is expected to open by the weekend.
