At some point Sunday night into early Monday morning, you may want to take a minute to look up into the night sky and witness a spectacular view.

Experts say the moon will be full at the closest distance to Earth since 1948. Meaning, it will appear 14% bigger and 30% brighter than it normally would.

If you miss it this weekend, you'll have to wait until 2034 for your next viewing with the full moon being so close to us here on planet Earth.

Of note for people near the coast -
King Tides will take place this coming Monday through Thursday.
