Taking a ‘Dip’ in Lake Winnipesauke for a Great Cause

Make your way to Laconia this weekend for Special Olympics of New Hampshire's "Winni Dip."

This Saturday and Sunday, the Margate at Lake Winnipesauke will be taken over by those brave enough to take a dip into the Big Lake. Saturday is the 7th annual 'Winni Dip' for Law Enforcement and public safety individuals and teams. Then Sunday, get ready for the 3rd annual high school 'Winni Dip!'

Both days begin with a 9am check-in and the costume parade each day begins at 11:30.  This year's theme for law enforcement is Disney, while the high school theme is Wizard of Oz.

Mark Ericson will once again be your host both days and I will be judging the costumes!

Even if you're not dipping, it's always fun to watch those that do!
