This video was just too good to pass up!

Researchers lost track of a remote camera and figured it had been pushed into the river by a wild animal and was forever lost.  Not so according to the Australian Broadcasting Company (the other ABC). After they gave up looking for the camera it was reported found by someone 70 miles away.  Once reunited with the wayward piece of gear, they checked the footage on the camera and caught the thief in the act.  Apparently a young sa eagle grabbed the camera and flew away with it.  Once the bird touched down it checked out the camera and shot an incriminating selfie on the process!
