The Fung Wah Bus is Officially Dead

The struggling discount bus line that had been infamous among New England travelers looks to be shut down for good.

Let's all take a moment of silence to remember that crazy bus line that struck fear in the heart of passengers for so many years.

NY1 News reports that the Fung Wah bus line will not be returning to the streets of Boston, MA because it could not find a bus stop to use. Fung Wah had lost its stop at South Station a few years ago after it failed to meet safety standards.

The bus was known to be super cheap, like $15 from New York to Boston cheap, but also known for its reckless driving.

There had been many accidents, and even a fatal crash, that gave the bus line a bad reputation. Having ridden on the bus myself, I can tell you that it was well-deserved.
