The Great Meredith Ice Fishing Derby Through The Eyes of WOKQ

Thanks to everyone who came up and said hello to the WOKQ Party Patrol at the Great Meredith Ice Fishing Derby! Despite the cold, we still left feeling all warm and fuzzy knowing that we have so many amazing listeners out there!

Here is what the event looked like from our eyes:

We had the chance to chat with some ice fishermen who have been coming to this event for years! We also got to connect with the founders of the Mark O'Connell association. They lost their father in a tragic accident on the lake two years ago. Their organization helps spread awareness around lake safety.

People travel all the way from Connecticut to attend this event and some have been coming for over 10 years. It is a great tradition we have in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Hopefully it is one we can continue for many years to come.
