The Greatest Trophy in Sports

The Stanley Cup is pretty fancy for sure, but can any trophy top a refrigerator door with your name on it? And coming up on Sunday, I'm hoping my name will be on the door again as we go for a three-peat third consecutive championship (did you know three-peat is copyrighted by Pat Riley even though he stole the idea? As if you needed another reason to dislike that guy).

Oh yes, back to the topic at hand-- the trophy for the Old Timers Hockey League out of Rochester is a refrigerator door spray painted with the colors of the teams involved (or left white in the case you play for White like me). After the game a sharpie is used to immortalize the score and players involved. Wish me luck on Sunday!
