The Reason This Portsmouth Pizzeria Closed It’s Doors May Surprise You
According to the Union Leader, the owner of 900 degrees was forced to close the Portsmouth location because she was having difficulty finding workers on the Seacoast. That surprises me! UNH is right down the road, don't college kids always need jobs?
She was only able to keep 20 people on the payroll at a time. They really need a team of 38-42 to keep the restaurant functioning smoothly. Staff couldn't get to customers fast enough and she didn't want it to tarnish the integrity of the brand.
If you have a gift card to 900 degrees you will still be able to use it at either the Manchester or Epping location. They aren't going anywhere!
