The World’s Longest Lobster Roll Was Made in New Hampshire
This is a big deal. (A 159 foot and 6-inch deal to be exact!)
According to WMUR, the folks at the British Beer Company in Portsmouth looked up the record of the longest lobster roll, which was 120 feet, and set out to beat it in a big way yesterday.
It took over 200 pounds of lobster meat, four gallons of mayonnaise (too much mayo for me to think about) 10 pounds of celery, and lots of lemon juice, but they did it!
A Portsmouth police officer signed off on the documents to submit to the Guinness Book of World Records to make this glorious achievement official!
It’s only right that the world’s longest lobster roll be made here on the Seacoast. What a proud moment for us all!
