A pair of crafty criminals decided to find a way to turn meat into cold hard drug money.

Andrew Tsoukalas, 43, and Michael Radcliffe, 43, of Lowell, Massachusetts were arrested for stealing expensive meat from a Pelham Hannaford and selling it in their van, according to WMUR.

Police arrested the pair and said that they stole up to $800 of pricey meat and seafood from the grocery store. Pelham police busted a stolen meat ring. Two men from Massachusetts were arrested Monday accused of selling stolen meat out of a van to get drug money.

First off, who buys raw meat out of a van these days? Would it even have anything close to proper refrigeration inside? There are a lot of unanswered questions.

It is not like I walk down the street thinking to myself: “Gee whiz I could really go for a raw steak right now. I hope a nice pair of gentlemen are selling them nearby so I can get my hands on some. Hope I don’t get a disease.”

No. The only items I want to eat out of a vehicle are prepared foods and ice cream.

Whoever their customers are must either be real cheapskates or risk takers, because who knows what kind of meat they were selling. It could have been cat, or worse, human meat. I don't know about you, but I would rather not have the knowledge that people are as tasty as they look.
