You go girl!!

.According to WMUR, Amy Craton first went to college in 1962 but put her education on hold to raise her children. Going back to school at this point seemed far fetched since she is now in a wheelchair and is hard of hearing.

That is why SNHU's online program was the perfect fit for Amy! She could take classes in the comfort of her own home and at her own pace. So in the Fall of 2013, she enrolled in their online degree program.

Amy is the oldest person to earn their degree at Southern New Hamshire University and that's a big deal! So SNHU President Paul LeBlanc hopped on a plane to Hawaii and hand delivered Amy her bachelor of arts degree in creative writing and English. (She earned a 4.0 by the way!!)

Craton is proud of herself but she's not stopping any time soon!

“It feels good to graduate, to finish that part of my life,” she said. “But I feel that I'm still on the road. I have more to learn. So now, I'll be doing my master’s.”
