Same-sex marriage setback
The same-sex marriage issue could be headed to the Supreme Court, now that a federal appeals court has halted a run of favorable rulings. The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel upheld laws against the practice in four states - Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee. The split created among the federal appeals courts makes it more likely the Supreme Court will agree to hear the case.

Manchester water main break leads to evacuations
At least 20 people have been evacuated from their homes in Manchester due to flooding from a water main break. Police say the flooding caused several large sink holes to open up in a neighborhood on the city's west side Thursday evening.
Many streets in the area remained this morning.

Sanford man gets 10 years on child porn charge
A Sanborn man who emailed sexually explicit videos of children to an undercover federal agent has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Richard Moulton Jr. was also sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Portland to 10 years of probation.
The 31-year-old Sanford pleaded guilty in May to a charge of transporting child pornography.Prosecutors say the 30-year-old Moulton was arrested following a Feb. 28 email exchange in which he sent an agent for Homeland Security Investigations four videos. Prosecutors say each video depicted a child or children between the ages of 4 and 12 engaged in sex acts.
