This Crumbling Gilford NH Castle Could Become A Wedding Destination

According to the Union Leader, an investor just forked over more than half a million dollars for the Kimball Castle in Gilford, New Hampshire.

The investor and his wife announced that they will be transforming the castle into a wedding and event destination! Unfortunately, theives and vandals have abused this historic treasure over time so they have their work cut out for them.  But it's unbelievable panoramic views of Lake Winnipesaukee would make for a breathtaking wedding backdrop. Plus, think of all of the gorgeous wedding photos you could take in that gazebo!

Rumor has it the castle is as haunted as they come. But if the new management could ask the spirits to kindly relocate and clean the grafitti off the stones, I think Kimball Castle has some real wedding venue potential!
