Vermont Resort That Hosted ABC's Bachelor Winter Games Has Closed

According to Boston.com, The Hermitage Club has been facing some financial woes has of late. They haven't been paying their bills to vendors and contractors and when you don't do that, they don't let you stay open. The resort, which is members only, closed for a third time in late March.

As a fan of all things Bachelor I was surprised to learn that The Hermitage Club hosted "The Bachelor Winter Games" spin off. I am guilty in dabbling in that show but it was even too trashy for me and my standards are pretty low.

Wouldn't ABC pay the The Hermitage Club big bucks for letting them host the show there? I don't understand how these things work but I feel bad that the resort is struggling financially.
