Are you a Titanic enthusiast? I am still not over that movie, even though it is 27 years old. For me it will always be one of the great cinematic treasures of our time.

If you're fascinated with the Titanic like I am, you might be intrigued by an event coming up this weekend at Cape Arundel Inn & Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine. It is a Titanic- inspired dinner experience for guests of the inn and locals alike. For $225 a person, guests can make their way to the “Heart of the Ocean” for a memorable celebration of art, music, and the enduring legacy of the Titanic.

Lindsay Heather Pearce and Nicholas Connell, who played the roles of Jack and Rose in the Titanic musical on Broadway, will be there and provide musical entertainment!

The performance will include small appetizers and Prosecco from Palm Bay Wines. Then there will be a sit-down dinner featuring dishes inspired by those served on the Titanic itself, including oysters, salmon with sorrel and watercress, strip loin with chateaux potatoes and carrots, and peaches with vanilla ice cream and chartreuse. YUM!!

Nicholas and Lindsay will treat the guests to a journey to the “Ship of Dreams” while performing hits from other projects like Wicked and “Show Me Love.” The event marks the 112th anniversary of the Titanic's fateful voyage and celebrates art, music, and the enduring legacy that goes on and on, just Celine Dion's heart.

If this sounds like your kind of Saturday night, grab your tickets here.
