We've been hearing about the devastation happening elsewhere in America as tornadoes have been touching down with frightening frequency the past few days. When that happens, local TV and radio go into high gear to provide the latest news and information. WTVA is the NBC-TV affiliate in Tupelo, Mississippi. I kid you not that one of their on-air slogans is... "The Weather Authority." So yesterday afternoon they were doing live tornado coverage when they went to a shot from outside their building which showed the tornado heading towards... their building!

Happy to report that everyone is OK and that the station, while damaged, is back on the air. This is what a tornado bug-out on live TV looks like...
