If you live in one of eleven seacoast towns adjacent to the Lamprey River, official are asking you to restrict the amount of water you use. 

The towns involved are Durham, Lee, Epping, Raymond, Candia, Deerfield, Northwood, Barrington, Freemont, Newfields and Newmarket. WMUR TV ABC 9 in Manchester reports that officials have asked residents to voluntarily cut back on water use because the river is at low levels that concern them.

The Department of Environmental resources has been studying the river and while they say water won't run out, they worry about the effects that could occur. The DES posts current drought conditions in New Hampshire online for you to monitor.
