(Dover, NH) - A tractor-trailer demolished an unmanned toll booth at the Dover toll plaza  on the Spaulding Turnpike Thursday afternoon, but only minor injuries resulted.

State Police say the southbound truck struck the middle lane ez-pass toll booth before striking another car, ending up across the northbound lanes of the toll plaza. The truck driver, 47 year old Roland Joy and the driver of the car, 69 year old John Worley, were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident just before 3 tied up traffic on the highway for several hours.

Officials in several communities have expressed disappointment that the COAST bus service will eliminate route 7. COAST will end the route at the end of June due to lack of financial support from all of the communities served by the route.

Route 7 provides transportation for residents of Newmarket, Exeter, Greenland, Stratham, Newington and Portsmouth.

The Boston Marathon bombing trial is taking a weekend break. Testimony will resume Monday in the death penalty trial of 21 year old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. His attorney earlier admitted that he client was responcible for the bombings at the finish line to the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013, but said he was under the influence of his older brother Tamerlan, who died in a shootout with police.

Closing arguments are being delivered today in the trial of a Maine man accused of using a false Facebook account to lure a teenager to her death. Kyle Dube of Orono is accused of kidnapping and murdering 15-year old  Nicole Cable of Glenburn

Near perfect conditions are greeting attendees at the annual Snodeo in Colebrook.  There is plenty of snow and groomed trails for the weekend event.
