Traffic Stop Leads To Weapons Charges

(Hooksett, NH) - A Hooksett man faces charges of being a felon in posession of a deadly weapon.

29 year old Jesse Longden was stopped by Hooksett Police for a speeding violation just after 1 this morning, and an officer noticed a large meat cleaver on the front seat of the car.

A further search produced several other knives in Longden's possession.

A 2012 conviction on a domestic assault charge prohibits Longden from possessing firearms or deadly weapons.

Longden was freed on $10-thousand P.R. bail and will face a court hearing in late May.
