The UNH Wildcats lost to the North Dakota State Bison Friday night by a final score of 52-7. Thus ends UNH's deepest football playoff run in school history. The 'Cats actually jumped out to a 7-0 lead behind a pick six, and the game was knotted at 7-7 after the first quarter. Twenty-four unanswered points in the second quarter and, well, yeah. That was it. The reality is that North Dakota State may be the most dominant team in Division I (previously known as I-AA) history and are a twenty-fourth consecutive win away from their third straight championship. It was a great ride for UNH, they just ran into a wood chipper in Fargo.
