UNH LECTURER IN MURDER/SUICIDE

Police say that the suicide death of a UNH lecturer ends the investigation into a double tragedy.

Eric Paul Engel of Durham had been sought in the shooting death of Alexander Lenny Wysocki, 74.  He was killed in North Carolina.  43 year old Engel, a lecturer in communications since August, had told family members he shot the victim.  A SWAT team located Engel at a Florida resort, surrounded the place and called for his surrender.  Instead, he was found dead inside of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Wysocki was found in a yard Friday and pronounced dead at Duke University Medical Center
