UPDATE: Lobsters Survive Maine Truck Crash. Quick, Melt Some Butter!

(Benton, Maine) - Maine State Police say that 30-thousand pounds of live lobsters survived a Wednesday morning crash on I-95.

The lobsters were being transported from Nova Scotia when the trailer-trailer went off the roadway while avoiding a car that had skidded on the snow-covered roadway. The lobsters were loaded on to another truck and continued their journey to stores in New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

The truck driver and his dog escaped injury also.
