Veteran’s Day will be observed on Tuesday, November 11 to honor the brave men and women who have fought for our country.

Here is what will be closed, or remain open, on Veteran’s Day 2014:

Government Offices: All government offices will be closed in honor of Veterans Day.

Retail Stores: Most retail stores and businesses should be operating under the same hours.

Financial Markets: Closed.

Banks: Closed, except TD Bank

Libraries: Closed

Mail:Post offices will be closed and mail will not be delivered during the holiday.

Waste Collection: Trash pickup should be on schedule

Parking metered spaces and garages throughout the state will offer free parking on Veterans Day.

Many businesses will offer free meals, discounts and other perks to members of the military on Veterans Day. They can be found at places like Olive Garden, Cracker Barrell, Red Roof Inn and many popular theme parks and destinations.
