If you're a frequent listener to The Morning Waking Crew, then you've heard us talking about CASA NH and Lisa Hall. CASA NH is 'Court Appointed Special Advocates.'  It's a private, non profit organization made up of volunteers who become the voice for abused and neglected children in the Granite State so those children have the opportunity to grow up in safe permanent homes.  Lisa Hall is a CASA volunteer and one of four finalists nationwide for the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award.  Lisa, (the only female finalist, by the way) is also a HUGE NASCAR fan.  The award is given annually to one dedicated NASCAR fan who has made a profound impact on children in his/her community.  Lisa, along with the other three finalists have already received $25,000 for the charity of their choice.  But, the national winner will also be awarded $100,000 for the charity of their choice.  CASA could really use that grant money.  The finalist with the most votes will be the winner.  You can vote once daily until  December 5th.  The winner will be announced on December 6th.   VOTE FOR LISA HERE!  For information on CASA, click here.
