Yes! You read that correctly. If you want to pick weeds (specifically, dandelions), the state would love to talk you.

If you don't have any plans for Friday, August 4th,  New Hampshire officials have a plan to keep you busy for the day.

The New Hampshire Natural Heritage Bureau is looking for volunteers to pluck weeds from areas around the summit of Mount Washington.

According to a report by the Associated Press, volunteers will be driven to the summit of Mt. Washington in state vehicles and will spend several hours removing the pesky plants.

Those interested are urged to dress for the weather, including wearing layers and proper footwear. You would also have to bring work gloves, water and food.
