Water Temperature At Hampton Beach Is What?!?!

Obviously, we know the water temp at Hampton Beach in winter isn't 'tropical,' but this is just crazy!  This is the time of year when we turn our attention to Special Olympics of New Hampshire and the annual Penguin Plunge.  WMUR Meteorologist Kevin Skarupa sent this email to Mark and me this morning...

"Water temp at Hampton this am is 38 degrees...as cold as I've seen it in years!"

And we are still a little over three weeks away from the actual Plunge.  YIKES!  We sure are going to earn it this year!   The "High School Plunge" theme this year is "School Spirit" and as you can see from the picture below, Kevin is ready to go!
