What Are Fun Dangles, Harley Giveaway and Officer Arkell Fund

Did you know square dancing involves 'fun dangles?'  If you didn't, allow me to explain.Our morning topic was 'weird or strange things you collect.' Tammy posted on Facebook that she has an entire back pack covered in fun dangles. Mark and I had no idea what the heck she was talking about, so we posed the question to our listeners. Loyal listener, Lisa from Weare, explained fun dangles come in different shapes and sizes and represent various things you do while square dancing.  For example, wearing mittens on your hands and shoe boxes on your feet. Sounds like they know how to party.

Personally, I think one of the creepiest things people collect are porcelain dolls.

Kinda creepy, aren't they?

Wolfeboro Commissioner Resigns
A police commissioner in Wolfeboro has resigned after he admitted using a racial slur to describe President Barack Obama. The chairwoman of the Wolfeboro board of selectmen says 82-year-old Robert Copeland resigned Sunday from the post. At a meeting last week, Copeland defiantly refused calls to resign.

Seven months ago a Connecticut teenager mailed a shall we say, 'date request' to the Vice President of the United States.  Talia Maselli never expected Joe Biden to escort her to the prom, but on the eve of the big dance, a hand-written note and a patriotic red-white-and-blue corsage was delivered to her door.  The note was hand-written by Biden.
