Well, yesterday was certainly a scorcher and while some people really enjoyed the heat not everyone was ready for it. But we're only now getting into what is traditionally the warmest days of the year.

A few days ago, Weather.com posted a story about what are historically the warmest weeks of the year. Here in New England, we're just going into those dates right now. In New Hampshire and Massachusetts, the last week in July tends to deliver the hottest weather of the year. The heat hold on a bit longer in Maine when the mercury soars into August.
