With today being "Admin Professionals Day," I'm wondering...When did they (and by they I mean the 'P.C. Police') decide the job title of Secretary was offensive? Merriam-Webster defines 'secretary' as: a person whose job is to handle records, letters, etc., for another person in an office.

Before my life in radio, I had a few different careers.  One of them was a secretary. I didn't see anything wrong with that title.  I worked as a secretary for a couple of years before being promoted to Executive Secretary.  Again, I didn't see anything wrong with that title or for that matter the job description and salary that came along with it.

My question to you is...do you find the title of 'secretary' offensive?  If so, why?
