See what the top country hits on the radio are singing about and how often they are mentioned within the songs.

Country singers are fond of the simpler things in life, and the top hits last week were no exception.

We took a look at what the top ten country songs were talking about in their songs. Artists included everyone from Zac Brown Band to Darius Rucker.

Our research showed that country singers were especially fond of drinking, places, religion and gals. For the record, they really like singing about women and relationships.

Every single one of the top ten songs had plenty of references to women, while eight out of ten had a lot of talk about drinking. Three of them mentioned towns and cities quite a bit, while two of them had some religious references thrown in the mix.

There were no girls on the top countdown last week, but we can only guess that their songs include less lyrics about the "gals."
