Next Monday, October 5th, is "World Teacher Day" and a national website they has ranked the 50 United States in terms of being best for teachers. So, where does the Granite State come in? 

According to Wallethub, which specializes in reviewing things through a financial perspective, New Hampshire places high on the list as a place for teachers to work. The Wallethub study looked at such things as job opportunity, compensation and work environment.

NH-1 News reported that New Hampshire ranked 16th on the list. Massachusetts took first place on the list. Vermont was slightly ahead of New Hampshire in 13th place and Maine trailed the other New England States placing way down at 39th.
