The National Hurricane Center has issued the latest guidance and New Hampshire may be taking part in a storm this weekend!

They expect that Matthew will remain a Hurricane with wind speeds of 74-110 miles per hour. No matter how far offshore it remains, as you can see from the early weekend guidance Southern New Hampshire will be affected.

Last time a tropical storm hit our area, I lost my "poor man's Marriott" in my dooryard.  It kinda looked like this:

A huge maple tree split in half and fell on it.  Insurance said it wasn't a permanent feature since it didn't have a foundation.  By the way, the furniture we had in it wasn't as nice as the picture has.

Just a reminder to be sure to secure anything in your yard that can be affected by a chance visit from a Tropical Storm/Hurricane.
