Whole Foods Opening New Store in Bedford Soon: Is Portsmouth Next?

Those hankering for organic food and a huge juice bar, good news! Whole Foods' expansion into New Hampshire continues with a new store set to open in Bedford this spring.

WMUR.com reports that the new store will be opening on April 8th at the Goffe Mill Plaza, where the Wayfarer Inn once stood. The store will be the second in New Hampshire, with the Nashua store having opened last fall.

Now you might be thinking "didn't I hear that Portsmouth was getting a store?". You did hear that and the possibility that one will be moving to the North End of Portsmouth remains. However, legal actions attempting to block the new development are on-going.
