We talked about people's irrational fears today on The Morning Waking Crew. Not many people know I'm afraid of Neil Diamond.

I'm sure "The Jazz Singer" is one heck of a nice guy but for some reason, Neil has always scared me. I don't know why. My parents never had any of his records and I actually like many of his songs..."Song Sung Blue," "Forever in Blue Jeans," "You Don't Bring Me Flowers," "Sweet Caroline," etc.  I can't explain my "fear of Diamond!" (note 'Diamond' NOT diamonds!)

Sean Laughton faces two counts of acting as an accomplice for allegedly serving as Sterritt's getaway driver. Both men are scheduled to be arraigned today.

Laconia police charge driver in fatal weekend crash
Laconia police have charged the driver in a weekend crash that left a passenger dead. Ryan Mears has been charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated. Police say he crashed into a tree early Sunday morning. Twenty-eight-year-old Tiffany Nieves was pronounced dead at the scene. Mears and another passenger remain hospitalized.

What's supposed to be a fun fall experience has some people calling 9-1-1.  A corn maze in California seems to be a bit too tough for some. Local authorities report getting numerous calls from people lost inside the maze.

Don, an experienced office manager had a talk with a new employee about her tardiness. He went on to tell her that her constant lateness is unacceptable. He didn't want his other employees to see her come in every morning late for her shift.  She asked him:
