Feeling nervous? Anxious? You'll be surprised by what food might make you feel better. Pickles. That's right, pickles-- or any number of fermented foods like sauerkraut or yogurt (or even kimchi)-- may ease that social anxiety of yours!

According to a study out of William & Mary and the University of Maryland, eating fermented food with probiotics seems to put us at ease. The same study also found that exercise led to less social anxiety.

You realize what this means? Next time I have to go to a party, I'm going to eat some pickles and be all nervous that I have pickle breath. I'll go for a walk to release that stress and then worry that I got too sweaty and need to eat pickles-- and a vicious walking / pickle eating cycle will ensue.
